Mine Smarter. Shift Your Fleet.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mining intelligence for the energy transition

Built by a team with experience at Fortescue, Rio Tinto, Newmont, IBM and a Tier 1 battery-electric OEM, and postgraduate degrees from Oxford.

Who it's for.

Mining companies

For the senior manager who answers for the attributes behind cost per tonne and total CAPEX.

  • Set decarbonisation targets that hold
  • Replace the consultant's spreadsheet with a model you own
  • Hold suppliers to a specification

OEMs

Work back from a customer's cost per tonne to the truck you have to build.

  • Develop product targets
  • Track design performance as a design matures
  • Establish customer requirements against real haul routes

Investors and due diligence

Test a fleet electrification case independently.

  • Reproduce the numbers
  • See which inputs are verified and which are assumed
  • Test the case against a missed specification

What are your decarbonisation targets?

And who owns the number behind them? OreShift is the fleet electrification model built for final investment decision (FID) scrutiny.

CAPEX

How much, and when, across vehicles, chargers and infrastructure.

Productivity

How many trucks it takes to hold the production target.

Battery specification

The capacity, charge rate and cycle life the pack has to deliver.

Technology selection

Which chemistry, which charging method, and which roadmap you back.

The attributes behind those targets

  • Battery capacity
  • Charge rate
  • Charge time
  • Cycle life
  • Cell chemistry
  • Technology roadmaps
  • Package space
  • Mass
  • And more

Modelling governance, without the consultant's spreadsheet.

OreShift is a model your team owns. Every input is sourced and timestamped, every run is reproducible, and when an input moves you rerun it and show what changed.

Diesel, BEV and hybrid, over the life of the asset, in one discounted cash flow. The energy side sits inside the same model.

Follow the trail, from cell to cost.

Every cost in the model traces back through six steps, from the cell to total cost of ownership.

Every input behind these carries a source, a timestamp, and a status showing whether it is verified from your site or sitting on a default.

A proprietary data set for mining electrification.

Vehicle, cell, battery, drivetrain, charger and haul route data, structured to work together. It is why a pilot study can start from one haul route and a truck class.

Vehicles
Truck classes, payload, mass and performance curves
Cells
Chemistry, energy density, charge rate, cycle and calendar life
Batteries
Configuration, installed and usable energy, pack mass
Drivetrains
Efficiency, regeneration and auxiliary loads
Chargers
Static and dynamic charging, power and efficiency
Haul routes
Route archetypes by commodity, distance and grade

Every default in the model comes from this data set and carries its source. Your site data replaces it line by line.

Why OreShift, and not the alternatives.

Independent

We have no trucks and no infrastructure to sell. So we can model an OEM missing its published spec by fifteen percent, and we routinely do. A supplier's own model structurally can't.

Auditable

Every input carries a source and a timestamp, and every run is reproducible. Each line shows whether it is verified from your site or sitting on a default.

Maintained

You don't get a PDF. You get a model that stays alive as the inputs move.

The Pilot Study

A quick-turnaround study: your haul route and truck class, run through the OreShift model and benchmarked against the industry.

Model showcase

Your route in the live model, comparing diesel, BEV and hybrid.

Industry comparison

How your route sits against benchmark operations.

Market trends

Where battery, energy and OEM technology are heading, and what that does to your case.

What you get back

The results in the pilot report, and the unit each comes in.

  • Cost per tonne moved: diesel, BEV, hybrid$/t
  • Abatement cost$/t CO2e
  • BEV fleet sizetrucks
  • Charge timemins
  • CAPEX spend and life-cycle cost$
  • Position against benchmark operationscomparison
  • Verified and default inputsline by line

All we need to start: one haul route and your truck class.

This is the starting point. Add your data and it becomes the model your team runs on.

  1. Pilot study

    Indicative

One haul route and your truck class, on benchmark defaults, with a quick turnaround.

  2. Full study

    Site-verified

We build the model with your people, using your data, and replace the defaults line by line.

  3. Live model

    Under licence

You keep the model live as inputs move, and we extend it across the fleet.

Questions buyers ask.

What do you need from us to start?

One haul route and your truck class. Everything else starts on a default from our data set.

What does the pilot cost?

The pilot is a paid study. We scope it and agree the price with you in the first conversation.

What do we keep?

You keep the pilot output either way. If you carry on, the model stays live under licence.

How does the case become site-verified?

In the full study we build the model with your people, using your data, and replace the defaults line by line.

Where is our data held?

In Australia. Site data is held under Australian data residency.

Does the AI assistant generate figures?

No. It helps you navigate the model and understand a result. Every figure comes from the model itself.

    Harry Scoble

    Co-Founder, Head of Commercial

Harry leads OreShift's commercial strategy and its total cost of ownership and life-cycle-cost methodology.

His career spans open-pit iron ore and critical minerals with Fortescue, Rio Tinto and Newmont, and product management for heavy-industry decarbonisation at a Tier 1 battery-electric OEM. He brings the operator's view of what a fleet must deliver and the manufacturer's view of what a product can achieve.
